Speech and Performance

Andrea Schwartz is an educator with a flare for coaching public speaking and performance skills.  She has authored four books, written and directed children’s plays, and founded and administered children’s choirs over her 28+ years as a home educator. Her speech students have gone on to win speech and debate contests, and she has been a sought-after judge for regional debate competitions for over a decade. Andrea has taught in group settings as well as private tutoring situations and believes that there is a good public speaker in everyone, especially children.  She has helped prepare her students for radio interviews and auditions. She delights in helping young people uncover their latent abilities, which when developed increases their confidence, communication skills, and poise.  “Persons who are not afraid to speak publically, usually end up being in positions of leadership.”
